Service requests
The submission of application for entering into marriage.
To submit a submission to the marriage; 1) must provide original dokuments-, 2) persons who previously had a different marriage document proving a previous marriage, if there is no information on the population register, 3) for a minor who wants to marry – her parents, guardians, or written permission from the orphan's court (original), 4) a foreigner who enters into marriage legally residing in Latvia at the time – a document issued by the relevant foreign state competent authorities of the fact that a person with no barriers to entering into marriage in the Republic of Latvia (document must be translated into Latvian language – to be submitted to the original).
It is possible to submit a submission:
The registry office;
LR representations abroad;
electronically (the application has been prepared in accordance with the regulatory enactments regarding drawing up of electronic documents).Service Processing

Service providers and recipients agree to enter into marriage time and place. Payment is made.Information about service charges

Marriage registration is carried out in the presence of persons who shall enter into marriage and two pilngadīgiem witnesses, marriage certificate.
Marriage registration is carried out in the General Registry Office or church Gulbenes county churches.
